Medical Insurance Coverage (includes vision)
We provide you and your dependents with fully paid medical insurance coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. The Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan is a comprehensive program designed to cover most medical expenses in the event of illness or injury. This coverage provides for the coverage of doctor visits, inpatient hospital visits, outpatient services, surgeries, prescription drug coverage, eye examinations, chiropractic services, and much more. We have secured the most comprehensive plan offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, ensuring that your doctor visit co-pays are the lowest available at $20.00 per visit and out of pocket expenses do not exceed $200 per family.
Dental Insurance Coverage
We provide you and your dependents with fully paid dental insurance coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. The dental insurance plan is a comprehensive program designed to cover 100% of normal dental services including twice-annual full teeth cleaning, bitewing, and full mouth x-rays, routine oral examinations, all with an annual co-pay of $25 per family member. Other non-routine services are available with 50%-80% coverage.
Life Insurance with Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage
To help ease the burden of funeral expenses, support of your dependents, and estate settlement costs, we provide a fully paid life insurance policy on you and your family's behalf through AXA Financial Company. The policy is valued at two times your basic annual earnings and allows you to designate a beneficiary(s) of your choice.
In addition, we have contracted with AXA Financial Company to offer you the option of
purchasing supplemental (additional) life insurance on yourself, your spouse, or your dependent
child(ren) at the same group rate we enjoy.
Disability Income Protection
We want to help protect you and your family from financial hardship in the event of an unforeseen illness or injury by providing a fully paid Short Term Disability insurance policy that will replace a significant portion of your income in the event of a disability lasting more than 14 days but less than ninety days. This coverage will replace approximately sixty percent of your base earnings.
Because we understand that sometimes you will require more time to recover we also provide you with a fully paid Long Term Disability insurance policy. This coverage will become active when your Short Term Disability expires and will provide benefits for up to twelve months. This coverage will replace approximately sixty percent of your base earnings.
Retirement Funding - 401(k) Plan
To help you save for your future goals and eventual retirement, we sponsor a qualified 401(k) retirement savings plan as part of your benefits package. The plan allows you to make contributions on a post-tax or pre-tax basis and includes a generous matching contribution from the company. In addition, you became fully vested in your retirement account the day you become a participant in the plan! The plan also allows for personal loans against your balance, in-service distributions, and
qualified hardship withdrawals.
Health Care Flexible Spending Contribution
Medical-related expenses can be a major budget buster. To relieve the stress and anxiety caused by these unavoidable but necessary expenditures we contribute the maximum allowable amount to your personal FSA account. You can use your FSA funds to pay for eligible medical, dental, vision, hearing, and prescription drug expenses for you, your spouse, and your eligible tax dependents.
In addition to the contribution made by the company, you can also make tax-free contributions.
Paid Time Off
Time off from work is important to maintain a healthy work/life balance. We encourage you to fully utilize your annual allotted paid PTO time in order to relax and rejuvenate. We currently provide 80-160 hours of paid PTO time based on years of service. Please use it to refuel your mind, body, and soul!
We currently provide you with fourteen paid holidays including an extended Christmas break.
Other paid time off benefits includes Birthday Off, Bereavement Leave, and Jury Duty Leave.
Our Discretionary Incentive Program is designed to share in the profits. The more we earn, the more you earn!
We provide you with the option to receive company-provided uniforms at no cost to you.
